Mariam has been cooking since the age of ten, and it is something that she deeply enjoys. Cooking for her is a meditative exercise which she uses in the kitchen while her hands are busy, to think and feel inspired. She also believes cooking to be an art form that allows her creative side to come to the fore as she finds new ways to perfect age-old cooking recipes.
Her classes will serve as a meeting point for many different people. They will provide, in addition to cooking lessons of a different variety, an opportunity for social networking that is fun and interesting, yet with the ultimate goal of empowering those less fortunate. Her ultimate goal in life is to empower women in Africa and giving them an education.
